Eviction Constable for Central and Western Massachusetts
Residential evictions from Notice to Quit through execution day. We handle service, 48-hour notices, and move out coordination so attorneys, landlords, and property managers are not trying to manage a Housing Court case off guesswork.
Most eviction work can start by email. Send documents to office@maconstable.com and we will handle printing, service, and e-return.

Eviction work is our primary focus
We have spent years in and around Massachusetts Housing Court. Our job is to make sure your eviction paperwork is served correctly, your 48-hour notices and execution days are handled by the book, and your file looks clean when the judge asks what happened.
Starting the eviction the right way
Service of 14-day nonpayment notices, rental-period notices for cause or no-fault, and the required state “Form to Accompany Residential Notice to Quit” in nonpayment cases, with proof of how and when it was served.
Housing Court and District Court service
Service of Summary Process summons and complaints, with attention to entry dates, service windows, and documentation so you are not arguing about whether the tenant was served.
From judgment to move out
48-hour notices, coordination with licensed movers and bonded storage, property inventories, and respectful on-site conduct on execution day so the case stays about the judgment, not the constable.
Who we work with on eviction matters
We work best with repeat professional clients who need reliable, by-the-book eviction work month after month: attorneys, landlords, and property managers who do not want surprises at the door or in the courtroom.
Evictions that support your case theory
Process service that matches the way you present files: clear timelines, detailed returns, and honest communication when something at the door does not go as expected.
Eviction partners, not just paper servers
We walk the eviction steps with you from first notice to execution, keeping you updated so you are not guessing about next steps or chasing down paperwork at the last minute.
Professional, respectful contact at the door
The eviction process is serious. We explain what is happening in plain English, follow written SOPs, and document our work with body worn cameras where policy allows.
Core services (evictions first, everything else second)
Evictions are the heart of our work. We also handle related civil process and support tasks that keep landlord–tenant matters moving.
Residential evictions, start to finish
Notices to Quit, Summary Process, 48-hour notices, and execution day coordination with licensed movers and storage. We understand Massachusetts Housing Court practice and the practical pressures landlords and attorneys are under.
Landlord–tenant civil process
Service of civil summons, complaints, and subpoenas that connect to your eviction or housing matters, including related small claims, injunctive relief, and post-judgment enforcement.
Limited capias outreach
Professional in-person outreach in select civil capias situations to strongly encourage voluntary court appearance, always within the legal limits in Massachusetts and without arrests or handcuffs.
Notary and support services
Notary service by appointment in Southbridge, with limited mobile options in nearby communities, plus practical administrative support around your eviction paperwork.
Eviction coverage – Central & Western Massachusetts
Based in Southbridge, we regularly handle evictions tied to:
- Worcester County Housing matters, including Southbridge, Charlton, Sturbridge, Dudley, Oxford, and surrounding towns.
- Hampden County, including Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, Westfield, and nearby communities.
- Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire Counties for Western Division Housing Court cases.
If your eviction is just outside these areas, ask anyway. If we cannot cover it properly, we will tell you straight and may be able to refer you to someone local.
How a typical eviction with us works
Every case has its own twists, but the outline is predictable: we confirm your deadlines, serve the right documents, and keep you informed at each step so you are not guessing.
Send your paperwork and deadlines
Email your Notice to Quit or court-issued Summary Process form, along with the court, town, and any known issues at the property. We confirm scope, timing, and fit before we say yes.
We serve and document each step
We attempt service, leave required notices, and, when appropriate, capture photos or body worn camera footage. You are notified when service is complete or if we run into problems at the door.
Court ready returns and execution support
You receive signed, timestamped returns suitable for court, usually the same day service completes, and on execution day we coordinate with movers and storage to carry out the court’s order.
What eviction clients say
I had awful tenants that refused to leave. Alan at South County Constable went out of his way to fit me into his schedule immediately. He served them and they knew he meant business. They moved through the night into the morning and there was not a single item left behind. I am very grateful for his service.
